Epic Video of Bear Grylls Climbing hard
|
Used to be a Bear Grylls detractor. But after watching quite a few of his "Running Wild" shows, have come to appreciate him as a person. Sure, his shows are full of BS stunts and overtly dramatic to engage the ignorant, but his personal side seems to come out a bit, as do his guests. It's a freaking TV show for ratings. He's travelling the world and getting paid well for it. Two days "on route"; three weeks to research and film while staying at 5 star resorts. |

I mean, I agree, seems like a alright dude: |

Bet Alex ups his game after some one on one with Bear....look what it did for Drew Brees. |

I like the "Keep me tight, bro!" moment. And he grabbed the draw at the hard part. But they left it in the video, so that's something. This series doesn't seem to be on Disney Plus. |

There was a Running Wild episode that took place in the "remote Colorado rockies" aka Eldorado Canyon. They were dropped off on top of Shirt Tail Peak (careful not to show the camera view east!) then ended up rappelling Rincon Wall just uphill from the Over the Hill area. At one point he intentionally throws a rock off the walkoff ledge on rincon wall to test the height and it lands right at the base of Over the Hill. He then said it must be 400 feet to the bottom and pulls out the rope to rappel. Then they hiked down to the river which turned out to be a totally different location (looked like somewhere near gross reservoir?). That one was always fun to watch. |
