ALL SOLD THANKS

Selling all of these. $70 each, shipped in the US. They retail for $109 plus tax and shipping. Take off $5 per additional device if you want more than one. If they don't sell at this price I am just going to give them to friends so I don't recommend waiting for another price drop.

E2A: 3 orange, 2 grey and 1 blue SOLD

the items were for myself and my family, not for resale and the site with the good price was on GriGris was backpacking-united.com. They still have orange for $64 + $14 shipping and great deals on Djinn draws (~$11 per draw).

...guess your family all quit climbing at the same time without using these, what a shame.
Nothing wrong with reselling for profit, but the story was amusing.

Actually they all got theirs and are enjoying them! Thought this might happen, glad you've been keeping up.

Here are some pics: the trash from a few that I gave to my siblings and cousin with the new ones I am selling and a pic of my brother looking a little weird with his new Grigri (he likes orange). If you can tell me what popular Jtree formation we are standing under, I'll knock $5 off of your order.

Get yours at https://www.backpacking-united.com/us/petzl-grigri-belay-device-red, the non-plus GG’s come out to $65 with shipping to the US.

That link didn't work for me, but the site still has them for $48: https://www.backpacking-united.com/us/alpine/climbing-equipment/belay-rappel

Yup, I think someone also posted that link in the deals thread? This isn't a secret, but I have the ones I have and people can buy them at my price if they want.

Your link is dead for me, so here's a working one for those who like long waits and lots of emails back and forth with customer service. Go with God--I paid Sep 21 and got them Oct 26. If they sell out again, the link will be dead but look under alpine/belay and rappel.

Indeed. I am almost more surprised people aren't mad that REI was selling them for near the same price last week or that you just sold two grigri 2s for $70 when they have been around that price from the usual scumbags before (though the anniversary one was a steal, depending who you ask).

Weird, I ordered a regular GriGri and got a Plus in the mail the next week. Never had an issue ordering from them.

@George: Some people would consider ordering one thing and getting something else an "issue" but to each his or her own. I like the plus for "guiding" and getting something more expensive for cheap is cool.

@MisterE Wolfe: Right park, wrong area. They do kinda all look the same though.

Bump for price drop. If I don't sell these before next Tuesday I won't be able to until Dec 28.

Bump again. I won't be dropping the price any more so take it or leave it.

Damn- not sure how I missed this as I’ve been looking a discounted grigri on here for weeks. And I’m in LA!

But congrats on the sales!

For a profit? As the “person of the year” would say,  “how dare you!”  ;)

Indeed. I don't think anyone who bought one is unhappy they did--the link to the only comparable price online was posted in this thread a few minutes after I started it. With the exception of the first one, I shipped USPS priority the day I was paid and provided tracking immediately. That's an objectively good deal and more than I can say for backpacking-united, but people are free to spend their money where they wish.

you must have made a high single digit profit on each! the nerve! (there exists not enough face palm for some previous posters in this thread...)
