Physical therapists in NYC?

My girlfriend (and climbing partner) just had shoulder surgery at HSS for a SLAP tear, and she's looking for a physical therapist for work on the recovery. We've both found that PTs can sometimes be confused by climbing, so we've been looking around for a PT who has experience with climbers. We live in Brooklyn and work in Manhattan, so ideally they'd be based in one or the other.

Anyone have anybody they'd recommend?

Thanks in advance for any advice!

I've been going to Erika Muraski at SetPT for some time, also with shoulder injuries. She's really good. (212) 661 0923

vinh tran fixed my shoulder and has helped a lot of Cliffs climbers. i believe he does a free evaluation if that helps, but it’s been awhile. in midtown.

Frank Lo, DPT from Atlantic physical therapy.  161 Atlantic Avenue Brooklyn.  Helped me with labrum and rotator cuff tears.  He climbs also.

Flex PT is a good one. One of the PTs is a skier so understands the outdoors mindset. They also have a certified hand therapist if you ever need one (hopefully not).

Another vote for Dr. Vinh Tran!  Fixed my torn rotator cuff with no surgery as well as a raging case of climber's elbow.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
