Has anyone been up here recently? From out of town and considering climbing on the summit peak this weekend depending on the suffer levels

Check the weather forecast - it will be cold, possibly icy from the snow today and tomorrow.

Well, with possibly up to a foot of snow at that elevation and highs in the upper 20’s, I sure wouldn’t slog up there.

Snow for the top half and going to be cold. Can see it from my house. Average joe suffer levels would be 7/10.

Current Alta web cam image. The main terrain in the image is at about the same elevation as the Cirque and about 7 air miles away.

This is the goods I was looking for. Average Joe suffer level included. Now I just have to be honest with myself as to if I'm an average joe or a true seasoned sufferer as I generally like to perceive myself pre mission...

If you are this serious than give it go up Jacobs ladder. When it stops being fun you can turn around. Marcs pic is a good example of what to expect at the top.
