Anyone else out there using the thritytwo Jones Series splitboard boot? I'm having trouble finding a semi-auto crampon that fits the boot since it's wider than most mountaineering boots. I own a set of Petzl Lynx already, so looking for something less aggressive & lighter that will still be good for steep couloirs.
I've seen Jones using various petzl crampons in videos over the years. Most recently the leopard FL or irvis hybrid (couldn't tell which). I think most crampons work just fine, there's just this misconception in the SB community that you need stupid wide forefoot points for it to work. IMO, you don't. Flex fit bails will work on damn near anything, the rest is up to how you tighten the straps.
I run grivel airtechs on my softboots, no complaints.

I dont think so, but then again, why do you need to heel bail? For snowboard boots ive always liked the strap as its easier to put on and youre never climbing anything difficult enough to need a flex free fit.
