Due to inclimate weather next week in Utah I've been forced to change plans and climb in Mt. Lemmon. I found a campsite in Rose Canyon, anyone know of a good spot (close by) to have a shower? Also, recommendations on moderate crags would be appreciated.

thanks!

Udall Recreation Center has showers for $2, for some definition of close.  32.249530, -110.838510 7200 E Tanque Verde Rd. Bring a lock and your own towel.

there are campgrounds all along mt lemmon highway on the way up the mountain. i think i stayed at the molino campground when i arrived at night and started my way up. not sure which if any have showers. there are moderate routes at almost all the crags along the way up the highway, and a lot are close, not too far off the road.

Thanks for the info. I'll look at the MSR option seems like it might be better than driving into town.

Or just don’t shower for a week. Who cares?

Water is available at the rose canyon campground and sun is plentiful. A solar shower will work awesomely. Hundreds of routes under 5.10 along the highway, and if you’re gonna be here a week or so, it’s probably worth it to buy a copy of SQ3. The area can actually be kind overwhelming without it.
