Bolt Buster sample #150.  Bomber Simpson strong tie TitenHD 4" long plated steel concrete screw holding down the welded "Rod Protector Hanger" from bolt-products.com rated to 45kn mbs.  Great for threading ropes through them, saving highliners from carrying quicklinks for anchors.  I was expecting this hanger to break since it has all those "weak points" from welding.  Snapped the damn head off the bolt.  No other hanger we tested did that to these bolts.  Result... 53.54kn!   (with Ryan Jenks & Bobby Hutton)

***No bolt test is sponsored.  These are independent tests done by people way to stoked to see shit break.

Great info!!

Those hangers are super strong. As an aside the Titen sheared at 53kn? What diameter was that?
