Climbing in Geneva

I just moved to Geneva, Switzerland for a job at the University of Geneva that will have me here for two years. I've already visited the Pan Structure wall but nothing else, and gone for a day hike around Le Salève, and saw some enticing looking climbs. My French is borderline nonexistent (I know, a bit of a yikes), but I'm working to build my vocabulary as fast as possible.

I'm looking both for advice on good climbing around here and also ways to meet partners here, such as clubs or gyms that are suited for finding partners, particularly those who speak English, at least for now. I do most forms of climbing other than aid and alpine mixed (I'd love to try, though), including bouldering, sport, trad, and glacier mountaineering.

Thanks in advance!

Note: this was previously posted in the partner forum by mistake, I moved it here.

There's a ton of good climbing all over ths country so don't be afraid to go a bit farther afield.

I post on kletterportal.ch when I'm looking for a climbing partner. It gets a pretty good response rate. Targeted mostly at the Germany-speaking population, but if you post in English people will know that you're not speaking German.

Also check out topodb.ch as a way to find out what climbing areas are nearby.

And if you ever want to climb farther east, let me know. I live in Central Switzerland.

As Mark has said, you could try kletterportal. You could also try to post in the Outdoors in Switzerland facebook group.
I use ukclimbing.com, the crag, sac guidebooks, ... for finding climbing areas, but have only been to central and east switzerland, since this is closest to where I live.

I went to Ecolint long before I discovered climbing, but I just checked our alumni resources, and climbing is mentioned as an extra-curricular activity.  The school is bilingual French/English.  There are two campuses, and my best guess is that there is a small wall at the La Chataigneraie campus in Founex.  Maybe reaching out to offer a volunteer hand would be a way to network.  They offer adult courses which would be beneath your ability, but there's a contact listed here who may be happy to chat about best local access:
