My physical therapist had this for tightening bolts on wheelchairs.  I traded him for a wrench.  Who made it?

its not.......its a old ass spanner wrench from a company that makes door closers......the spanner end is most likely to screw on/tighten the ring on commercial door knobs. obviously, itll work as a nut tool and you can tighten loose nuts on bolts with it.

A  PRICELESS VINTAGE NUT TOOL, YOU SAY?
Alright folks, I'll start the bidding at one jillion pesos.

These often don't work for tightening loose nuts on bolts with hangers, unless the socket on the end fits the nut -
otherwise the hanger limits the range of motion.

Used to use my bicycle spanner as nut tool. Thing was pretty dang heavy though.

Anyone know of a probably vintage nut tool with a very small hammerhead on the hook end?  Sure would like one of those.  A friend had one she used regularly since her husband liked to secretly hang on the nuts he placed when leading.

I think Leeper made one like that.

I think a slide hammer design would be a better use for an extra ounce or two.

You could use a water-filled torus for the weight and then you would also have an answer to "what is the best water bottle to clip to your harness?".

Lowe Chock Tocker made in the early 80s. I still use one.

even if its a nut size in the middle of the tool, it still works, albeit slowly. you have to tighten a sixth of a turn at a time.....the metolius is a good one because it has 12 point nut sizes in it. i am thinking of getting one of these though, it only has 2 nuts, but itll probably piss of the p/c climbers at any crag.........

Gratuitous post: I make a nut tool that works nice. Similar in concept to the wrench you got from your PT.    www.neilico.com

Wow what a great collection! There are some interesting designs in this thread. Awesome.  Still don't see the one my friend had.. but what a useful item the nut tool is for us.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
