Used gear shops along front range
|
I lost a set of nuts and a .1 cam this week, looking to replace these items in an affordable way. What’s are some used gear shops along the front range. Google is not showing me anything promising. |

Colorado Springs has Gearonimo and Mountain Equipment Recyclers. |
|
Wilderness Exchange in Denver has some items on consignment. |
|
If you're near Boulder, I always loved Boulder Sports Recycler! I believe they'd probably have a replacement for your nuts and maybe a harness just based on what I typically found when I frequented that spot. |
|
Thanks I am near Fort Collins but regularly head south along the front range. |

In The Fort, Gearage on Mountain Ave has used climbing gear. |

Do they? I called gearage they said they only have shoes and chalk bags. |

The last time I was in (approx a month ago) they still carried a light assortment of nuts, carabiners, guide books, helmets, harnesses, some new cams, etc. They also carry a shit ton load of camping gear and clothes for your adventures. Great prices? Meh - but good gear in good condition. Unless they have changed and got rid of the other climbing gear in that time period, this has always been the case. You may have gotten a new sales clerk. |

The for sale forum here will probably have what you need. Priority mail is fast as long as the seller is |

Gearage has new Metolius UL Mastercams and their nuts, if that helps. Used the could have anything - I've certainly seen C4s and nuts there. I actually picked up a #6 tricam (the second hugest) for $12 last time, which is sweet! |
