I've had a few people mention that Hocking Hills, OH is a good place for climbing. Most of them are non-climbers. Looks like there are only a few Top rope routes on Mountain Project. I this correct or are there more? Were not looking for guides or boldering. Where can I find more info? Thanks.

The top ropes are mostly it. You could dabble in some trad but I wouldn’t recommend it. The sandstone is fairly brittle.

Not sure about the climbing because I didn't climb much when I lived in Athens but Hocking Hills is a beautiful place to check out if your passing through. If you call Ohio University outdoor pursuits, they might be able to help you, there was a strong climbing community when I went to school there in 2016. https://www.ohio.edu/recreation/outdoorpursuits/

No. If you’re coming from MI spend the drive time going to the Red River Gorge or New River Gorge (slightly further drive but well worth it, as it is world class).

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
