Looking for 2 or 3 ⅜” removable bolts. I have a few ½” ones and am in need of ⅜” but can’t find them anywhere

Do you need them for one specific project? I'm not looking to get rid of these, even though I've had them forever and still haven't used them. I'd be willing to loan them if there is one specific goal you have in mind.

ClimbingOn, thanks for that offer. I just sent you a message.

Blow dust out of the hole well before placing and bring a tool to help with removal. They can get stuck.

I'm not aware of 'removable bolts' available in 3/8"...if they are I'd sure like to know!  Some folks and myself have been using cheapo hardware store 3-piece sleeve bolts for temporary/working installations.  ~13KN rated spec for the Red Heads, not bad.  Takes 2 hands, about a minute, the proper touch, and mini vice grips to remove.  Not as ideal as removable bolts, but they might serve your purpose.

Unless the route requires glue-in's/titanium, these are the only bolts I use. Kinda unsettling nobody's mentioned them in this thread . Even if you don't live in a maritime environment, stainless should be used with matching SS hangers. Don't mix metals. Cheaper's not always better.

I've not used this company.

Yes, discontinued.  I even contacted them to see if any were laying around.
I have one.  Wish I had two!

Somewhere on here somebody mentioned that Totem got the permission to manufacture them in 10mm size, but apparently nothing ever came of it.

To the OP, I wish.  I think climb tech discontinued the 3/8" in like 2005 or 6, so they are impossible to find.

Weird they did that because it seems 3/8” would be a popular size.

Climbtech discontinued them because their version tended to get permanetly stuck.  Some guys in SLC use to make some ⅜” in their garage that were easy to remove. I would buy either if someone has some

Also Ty, you should try reading the thread before commenting

I think they get stuck because of them having the sliding part on one side only.  All the larger sizes have the moving part on both sides.

I have loaded mine on TR development, but never a lead fall.  I imagine that’s when they get stuck for real.  Mine has gotten stuck a bit, but if I hold the stem / trigger a certain way it has always come out.

On another thought...  I always wondered about a 1/2” one, and snipping one side of the moving bit, and maybe grinding off some of the other main bit to resize it to 3/8”.   Who knows how much that would reduce the strength.
The one I have does look like it was shaped in such a way, so to speak.  Dunno...
I don’t have the money to just buy one for the sake  of trying.
