What carabiners fit the DMM Pivot's lowering hole??

Hello all, thank you in advance for your wisdom. For those of you whom have lowered a follower (in guide mode) using a DMM Pivot, what is your preferred carabiner that fits the DMM Pivot's lowering hole?? According to some research done here ( backcountry.com/dmm-chicane… ) the "DMM Sentinel locker, Petzl Spirit locker, and C.A.M.P. Photon locker fit into the hole..." and I have found that a CAMP nano as well as the dinky Metolius FS Mini (v01) does, but does anyone have a biner (or a system) they prefer? It seems like most biners don't fit too well. Thank you.

Any small biner will do.  Usually will just use one of my smaller racking biners, like the Camp Nanos.

Just tested all of the carabiners that I have. Hope that helps!

I just stumbled upon this thread.
IMO it’s really silly that DMM didn’t make the lowering hole much bigger. It’s barely any larger than the BD ATC-Guide’s hole. Especially when you consider that a big selling point in DMM’s marketing materials is the ability to clip a carabiner into the hole and (safely) lower.

None of my carabiners fit completely through the hole to enable you to use proper leverage. Only a few models can even fit just the nose of the gate in.

I have a couple friends that are about 30lbs more than me and I’ve never had to use that method with the pivot, mainly why I like it. Best bet is to run a sling throw it or just nose hook it with a regular Biner.

One really easy option that is often overlooked is to hitch the rope carabiner on the atc and redirect it through something on the anchor to rotate the device. much easier that messing around with the tiny hole on the front of the plate.

How has nobody mentioned the Dyon? Besides, you should have tons of these on all your cams already ;)
