BD Quickdraw Age?

Most gear these days has year of manufacture codes or dates on the tag.
I picked up a rack of BD draws for a song that are brand new. Only issue is I’m unsure of manufacture date. No codes. No nothing.
I was hoping someone here might have owned these and recognize them from the draw color. Black with lime green. Old style non keylock biners w/ light green gates.
On inspection they are as new. But I want to verify the date of the Bones before using them.

If they look and feel fine you’ll be okay using them as is. 

Or, you could just buy new dogbones for peace of mind and that safety thing!

I’d say early 2000’s. That’s the old BD logo and they changed to the current one in like 2003 or so. They also had striped webbing like that around that time. Might be enduro carabiners, too.

Those were the old Quicksilver carabiners so that puts them at around 29 years old. How strong they are depends much more on how they were stored than on their age and use.

You’re probably right. I think The Quicksilver had a forged body.

They are rated in kN and not kg, so that's a clue.

I threw the dogbones away and use the draws as leaver biners and I believe they are early 2000's.

Picked up a mess of new Mammut draws on sale to switch out the originals. Peace of mind and all. 

I have a set of these and they were purchased in the year 2000.
