HELP: Dispersed camping - Eagle/Vail, CO

Hey,
I'm struggling to find a good (dispersed) camp site around Vail.
I was thinking about checking out the bouldering world cup tmrw and camping somewhere with a good view after.

Any recommendations? :)

Find a cougar at one of the cocktail bars.  

Try out going towards red cliff, believe there is some BLM land there

Or squaw creek trailhead in edwards, technically not a campsite but its a big flat parking area that's back in the woods

Take highway 24 south through Minturn, there is dispersed camping in the forests on the right side of the road. Past Red Cliff I believe.

I live in Eagle.  We've got a fenced, grassy yard, bouldering wall in my garage and ample parking.  There's great free camping 5 minutes away from my house (gets filled up quick these days), but shoot me a message if you need a spot.  My wife and I are heading up tomorrow to watch the show.
