Which crampons for Scarpa Maestrales?

Neither my BD cyborgs or BD snaggletooths, both fully automatic, don't fit on my Scarpa Maestrales. I have tried both toe bails. Which crampons work well on these boots?

Edit: I prefer a fully auto crampon

have you tried the wide toe bail? I've read they should work, but haven't tried them myself and also use the Maelstrales.

I think I have tried them. Both pairs of my bd crampons came with a set of different toe and neither worked

I use the Petzl Lynx. Have worked great for skimo thus far

Have you tried off-setting the bails so that the bails are in non-matching holes on each side? Like, back hole on the inside and middle hole on the outside. I have one set of crampons/boots that I have to do this with but they fit really well like this.

I’ve had good luck with the same boots with the Petzl lynx. Any Petzl step in should give a good fit though.

Also used Petzl vasaks with both the wire front and set up as hybrids and got a secure fit.

BD makes three sizes of toe bails. The Snaggletooths come with the smaller two sizes: narrow and regular. These are the ones you tried. You have to buy the wide bails separately. They are the only ones that will fit ski boots.

I own snaggletooths and wide bails made them fit my la Sportiva ski boots.
Also own a pair of lynx (my primary crampon) and can confirm that their stock bail fits a wider ranger of boots than the BD crampons (including the ski boots)

Another vote for the Lynx. I also have Leopards for easy snow stuff. For me the crux was finding a rear bail that fits securely without smacking the walk mechanism. No front bail issues with the Petzls.

These rears are low profile and work well.

This is worth repeating, because it solves the problem OP is having, and doesn't require buying hundreds of dollars of more stuff.  Here's a link to the wide bail (also posted above):

I have Maestrales and Snaggletooth crampons, and they fit great with the wide bail.  No need to buy anything except for the proper bails.

Don't bother with Lynx if you already have those others. Get the Irvis Hybrid. They are awesome on ski boots and weight next nothing. And both pack up the same size and even lighter than a single Lynx (I own lynx as well for actual ice climbing)

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
