Title says it all. I'm looking to get a pair of approach shoes for climbing in the Tetons this summer and need to know how these size compared to other shoes.
In Sportiva shoes, I know my size in Solutions, Pythons, Miura VS, and Futuras In FiveTen, I know my size in Tennies, Camp 4 Mids GTX, Galileos, Moccs, Dragons, and Black Teams In Evolv, I know my size in Cruiser Psychs, Shamans. In Scarpa, I know my size in Charmoz, P6000, Instinct VS
Any and all help would be greatly appreciated!

I wear a 39 in solutions and miura vs, 38.5 in pythons. I have the tx3 in 42.5, and it is very comfortable, with a good bit of space up front; sized more for hiking and hanging around than for 'real climbing'. If I were getting them with the intention of doing significant amounts of technical climbing I would go down to 42, or possibly 41.5. Hope this helps!

I size my TX's the same as my LS climbing shoes for a performance fit. For me, it's 44 for Muira, TC's and TX's. For the TX's, this would be a bit tight for all day hiking/running.
I'm a 46 in the LS Mutant which I size for running long distances in, which wouldn't be a bad size for the TX for doing all-day adventures in. If I DO do an all-day thing and want TX's though, I just bring them as a second pair. .The rubber on the outsole will wear out sooner than a normal trail runner/boot.

I cant speak on the TX3 or 4, but my TX2 are sized the same as my TC pros (US 10/EU 43) and I wish there was juuuust a little more room in the toe box. If I purchased again, I would go half a size up for comfort.

I'm a 43 in TC Pro and TX3. I size both for all-day efforts. In La Sportiva boots, I'm a 44 across the board.

I wear 10.5 in US and 43.5 in Euro in the TX-2. I might go a little larger if I was going to wear thicker socks.

My foot measures 28.3cm from my heel to my longest toe. I've pretty much given up on squeezing my feet in torturous climbing shoes but appreciate a precise fit with no empty air space and any shoes or boots I'll be walking miles in I leave some wiggle room around my toes. The only boots I'll fit tight/short are my snowboard boots. As hard as I try to get boots to fit well it seems like I lose a toenail every spring or summer by walking downhill with tight boots.
Typically I wear a 28.5 ski boot or 10.5 Burton snowboard boot, my Nepal Cubes are 45s, my Evolv Shamans are 12s (I could go down a 1/2 size but I don't get any extra performance, just pain), I think my Evolv Cruzers are also 12s. I don't remember what size my TC Pros are but I think they are 45 and fit for all day trad (flat toes, might be able to fit a thin sock), not for performance face climbing, I'd like to pick up a second pair a half size down. I don't remember my 5 Ten Guide Tennies size but I think the are a 12 in one of the earlier versions from 2010. My Brooks running shoes are all 12s to give me some wiggle room.
I just picked up Trango Techs and TX4s both in 45 and am very happy with them so far. I was going to get TX3s but they were sold out when I bought them so I got TX4s instead. I put 6-7 miles of hiking in the Trango Techs yesterday plus ~4 pitches on a 5.4 route and think I got the sizing right. The TX4s have a little wiggle room in the toes but that's how I wanted them. I wanted to be able to "approach" not climb but I haven't put any mileage on the TX4s outside yet, just a little time walking the dog to find out if there will be any problem spots before I take them out in the mountains.

a couple extra data points i guess: 1) my all day-ish, but still climb pretty well katana velcros are 41.5 2) my tight-ish galileos (probably couldn't do tighter, but still pretty tight, it redpoint shoes) are 9 US 3) my TX4's that i use if i know it will be scrambling intensive and i am willing to deal with a little toe bang on long descents are 43.5 4) my TX4's that i use if i am not too worried about the scrambling, or if i know it will be an epic descending toe bang fest are 44
hope this helps, and good luck!

I have a scarpa foot, 9.5/42.5 across the board in that brand. My TX3s are sized at a 9.5 also and that is with a light wool socks. Definitely not the typical La Sportiva where I would size up 1-1.5 sizes.

42 Skwama 42.5 Futura, Cobra 43 TC Pros, Katana Lace, Miura lace, Miura VS, Testarossa 43.5 TX4 snug for technical terrain, 44 would be comfy for use as a normal walking/hiking shoe
(US 10.5 in most street shoes as if that means anything)
