First Time Climber Looking for Guide Recommendations for Mt. Adams

Looking for a potential guide or group of people to summit Mt. Adams (South Pass) with tomorrow (5/26/2019) or in the near future. I was going to go with a friend, but he is not ready to go. I am fully equipped (clothes, food, crampons, ice ax, etc.) but am without a tent. I am willing to pay for a guide.

If interested, please send me a text at (360) 326-5607. Thank you!

That's very rude of you. He is looking for personal recommendations. Is trolling all you have to contribute to the forums?

You could call KAF Adventures,  but if they do not have a permit for Mt. Adams, they can not guide you. Only permited guides can guide on most mountains.

I highly recommend the Northwest Mountain School, based out of Leavenworth WA. Matt Hartman, Craig Muderlak, and Adam Butterfield are some of the kindest, most enduring, and personable guides I've been around. Genuinely great people, extremely experienced and safe.

Mitch,
Mt. Adam's south route is pretty tame and popular. I would think if the weather window is good and you went by yourself, you would find that you would be alone with about 100 other climbers up there. Might not be worth the money to hire a guide. This time of year the winter route is the best option.

Ah never mind. This was 3 days ago. Hopefully you survived. ;)

KAF Adventures or The American Alpine Institute would be my go-tos in that area.

I ended up not going three days ago, however, I do plan on going up this upcoming weekend. Thank  you so much!

Weather looks good this weekend. Best on Sunday. Have fun.
