Estes Park's Via Ferrata
|
I just climbed the Estes Park Via Ferrata, its really cool, one ass puckering overhanging section. It is better than the Telluride VF! |
|
Can you do it on your own or do you need to book it through a guided group? |

Which formation this is on? |

$220....wow. that is pretty steep price. |

Yeah, this is basically an ad. |

Save your money and go aid climbing for a day |

The Via Ferrata is on private land, you have to book it through the guide service. you Mountain Project hard cores will have to go to the Dolomite's to do them for free. |

I heard there is a Via Ferrata in Ouray now! Anybody done it? |

George Bell wrote: Yes! Really fun and free to the public. It does get a little busy on the weekend as there are lots of guided groups. Its also a requirement to have a via ferrata specific lanyard. Im not sure about week days but on weekends there is a volunteer there that will turn you away if you do not have the via ferrata certified lanyard but you can rent them in town. Highly recommend! |
