Scented Essential Oil Chalk

What do you think? Should I get some? |

We don't ask questions like this in SLO county. |

Essential oils are essentially worthless. |

I don’t see a reason not to. Then again, why would you? |

NRobl wrote: Essential oils are essentially worthless. I disagree, but only for peppermint oil. Nausea and headaches = gone. |

I experimented with making my own scented chalk in highschool using essential oils. The chalk did smell nice, but the peppermint and lavender combination we used ended up attracting bees and stinging your eyes. That didn't stop up from coming up with a company name and tagline though: |

No No No HELL NO! Leaving essential oil residue on the rock would potentially provoke allergic sensitivities in some people. I and many other people have such sensitivity to scent and perfume ingredients and commonly have airway/respiratory reactions around them. Please do not do this. |

But what about all the people's chacos, uh I mean chakras it lines up? I think you are being insensitive to their auras. |

Joshua Tree Herbal Chalk sells scented chalk. I like the "Ice" scent: amazon.com/Joshua-Tree-Herb… Its basically just menthol/mint scented. They claim it numbs your fingers to help you climb harder but I think that's almost definitely bullshit. I just like the way it smells lol |

Better watch out for Clif bar residue, peanutbutter residue, etc on those cliffs then |

Does no one else see the irony in using chalk and oil in the same sentence? |
|
Nonessential oils you mean. 1/10 |
|
Please don’t! I remember following a party up Frogland and the whole climb reeked of patchuoil oil. I had such a headache by the time we got to the top I couldn’t enjoy my summit beer. |

NRobl wrote: Essential oils are essentially worthless. I know a few people who consider THC oil to be essential :) Unscented that would be a great addition to chalk. Maintain your buzz and climb on! |
