Glacier Glasses for fat heads?

A few years back, I tried on a friend’s pair of Julbo Explorer XL’s, and it was amazing. Finally, a pair of glacier glasses that didn’t squeeze the sides of my fat head! Went to look for them, and found that they’re not made anymore, and the ones I can find online only have the spectron 4 lenses, not a photochromatic lense. Tried on a pair of Explorer 2’s yesterday, and they squeezed. Anyone have any suggestions for glasses for wide heads with photochromatic lenses?

Maybe if you can find some Explorer XL Julbo still has a Camel lens for them they could put in for you.  Long shot but worth contacting them.

That's actually a good idea, sad I didn't think of it. Sent them an email, we'll see what they say, but my guess is that the XL's had a different lense size that they chose to never make the camel lenses for.

Update - Norm, you're awesome - was able to snag a pair of Explorer XL's off of ebay, and I'm going to be ordering a set of Camel lenses for them direct from Julbo. Woot!

Excellent! Glad it worked out. You are gonna look so cool.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
