Man I was about to post in that other dog thread, the one about dogs and climbers at shelf road with the pepper spray and dog waste in bags and then I saw this one.

Personally I think dogs in gyms is great. Fantastic. This is something to get behind.

That's awesome!  I would go to that gym just because they allow dogs!

DBC Central has allowed dogs for years, it's the main reason I go to DBC. Movement is just trying to play catch up.

If the gym allows it, I see no problem. If someone is using the emotional support animal scam, that's wrong. And I love dogs.

Dogs in a gym are great.  Helps us train dogs to become crag dogs!    We need more crag dogs!!!!

Interesting that a gym would allow it. I always see 2 or 3 dogs tied up outside the entrance to my gym, which I think is pretty messed up. Not sure why someone would leave their dog outside in a big city for a few hours instead of just leaving it at home.

I think gyms have to allow it if its a service animal

Cats however BELONG in climbing gyms:

Movement Boulder has a sign out front specifically banning tying up dogs out front.

I wish ET Golden did too. I'm tired of seeing it.

My local gym used to allow dogs, but no longer.  The amount of puke and poop that had to keep getting cleaned up was too much apparently.

Dog people are more delusional than terrorists. I lOve My DoG sO eVeryoNE ElSe dOes tOO!

I hate your dog. Its your emotional support for your inherent weakness. It doesn't need to be in the gym. Why should I be subjected to your badly behaved dog? MY dOg AlwaYs LisTens!! We can go anywhere with dogs and hear owners screaming commands at their dog that isn't listening.

In some religious traditions, dogs are sacred.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
