What's everyone go to wag bags here? Looking to restock on some for this season. Ideally they're cheap, sealable so I can put it in my pack, and comes with the gel/clumping material for the smell.

The trick is hiding it in your partner's pack after use

Used the RestStop ones on walls last year with good success. 3 boys worth of poo and it didn't smell. A 12 pack was something around $30.

You can make your own easily as well; all the above contains is double bags, kitty litter, twist ties, and a moist towelette. I'll probably just make my own this year.

"A burrito bag": Folded square of aluminum foil (big enough to be a target and to wrap up the results), 3 or 4 freezer ziplocks, some baking soda.

We use these when doing overnight caving and have started using them in a pinch in alpine areas as well.

Most popular areas that require them have them available at the trailhead. You normally grab one or two more than you expect to use so after each trip you can add a few to the stash for any place they aren’t available

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
