I'm looking to replace all my alpine draw and double length slings this season.  I think right now I'm using all BD Dynex Runners.  What do you guys use for your alpine draw and/or double length slings?

I'm a big fan of the Mammut Contact slings. The bar-tacking is covered so you don't ever get hung up on that little shelf like on the BD runners. Small change that makes your life much more pleasant IMO. Otherwise very comparable in weight/diameter/feel to the BD dyneema runners.

Outdoor Gear Lab has a review on this subject. TL;DR: For alpine draws they recommend the Sterling Dyneema Slings.

I have both the Sterling Dyneema Slings and the Mammut Contact Slings and use both in my alpine draws, and I think either would be a reasonable choice. As Daniel Kay mentioned, the covered bar tack is a nice plus for the Mammut slings, but they definitely wear faster than the Sterling slings do--I've had the Sterling slings longer and they have less wear, and are also thicker. I haven't had the Mammut slings long enough to have to retire any yet, but if they wear out as quickly as they seem to be, I'm probably going to go back to the Sterling slings.

Whatever brand is cheapest in the 10mm dyneema-nylon blend. IMO 10mm slings offer a nice balance between weight and durability.

The cheapest/the best sale certified dyneema/dynex 8…11mm slings.

Not really a wrong answer here, but I definitely endorse the Mammut Contact slings. The seamless bar tacking makes a world of difference, in my opinion.

Yeah, they're totally all the same. Just buy what's on sale. YnGD.

One time I ordered 2x 120cm Black Diamond 10mil slings.

Whoever the shipping clerk was accidentally boxed me up 2x bags with 10 slings each.

I've preferred using the 18 free ones for some time now.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
