Hip Belt Pocket

I bought a Osprey Variant bag and didn't think that much about the hip belt pocket at the time. I love the bag and nearly everything about it except no hip belt pocket sucks.None of the osprey interchangable hip belts come with pockets.

Has anyone had any success with other types of pocket attachements on the hip belt?
Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
