Looking for some good beginner ice crags in NH. Can lead WI3 and TR anything else, might be looking into breaking into leading WI4. Frankenstein Ice seems like a nice crag. Crawford Notch also seems to have a lot of climbs. Just looking to hit the best crags while I'm up there for a limited time. Probably going to skip out on Mt Wash this trip.

When you get up there, go over to IME and ask for some beta (in addition to buying something).   They will point you in the right direction.   There's tons of moderate ice.  It's not so much beginner crags as it is just knowing which routes are doable for you.  Frankenstein is the main attraction and if you are serious about WI3 you should give Standard Route a try.   There's also a lot of 3+ over there.  If you need to only top rope you should try N End of Cathedral and also don;t forget about Flume Gorge which is hard steep top roping over near Cannon.

Check out this website too: http://www.neclimbs.com/index.php?PageName=iceConditionsReport

Frankenstein has a ton of options
Mt Willard is great especially if you want some multi-pitch stuff
Kinsman notch has some good options too but further than the above if your staying near Conway, great if your driving north.

Thanks for the tips, the neclimbs page is great, did not know about that.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
