Lol..not sure where you're going with this, but no, no sprinter. Neither of us is the #vanlife type. Jobs and bills and such...

Welcome to the #houselife revolution.  There are many blogs and podcasts about #houselife and #climbing.  Brave new world out there for the intrepid few willing to live in houses and climb.

I've gotten these climbing hold magnets for my fridge and have given them to friends as gifts. I think they are a pretty fun thing to have.  Here's where I got them if you're interested: https://www.etsy.com/listing/289690991/rock-climbing-magnet-set-earth-tones?ga_order=most_relevant&ga_search_type=all&ga_view_type=gallery&ga_search_query=magnets+climbing&ref=sr_gallery-1-1&organic_search_click=1&bes=1

(They come in bright colors too)

I think it is sweet that you are getting your friend a gift. But before you get her a rope rug or fridge magnets, maybe you should consider if it suits her personality/decorating style.

I’m a climber, but I don’t really want a rope rug. Even though I admire the well made ones with intricate knot patterns, I don’t know where I would put one in my house. I definitely don’t want fridge magnets of any kind, Climbing-related or not.

My mom often gives me well-meaning gifts that I can’t really use, and, while the thought definitely counts, if your friend is like me, the idea of a useless object that clutters her space may also be less than appealing.

Gift card is sometimes the safest/most appreciated choice, even though it feels less personal to the giver.

Won't work on a stainless steel door.

Thanks Mike! (I’m the rack guy) Lots of folks give my products/art as gifts and I’ve done tons of custom silhouettes over the past year if interested! Take care MP world!

This is a good point. Have you considered getting her a few Totems to decorate the inside of her gear bin?

While a bit controversial, perhaps some glue-ons?

There are tea steepers in the shape of a mountain climber. Those are cool.

I think that would be a great gift, but isn't there a monthly fee?

My friend’s a climber, and his birthday’s coming up soon. Carabiner coat racks are a really good idea! I think he would love one because he was complaining recently he has nowhere to put all his jackets. He’s got many working pants and jackets, and I think such a coat rack.
Usually, I give gift baskets to people I love and fill them with something they like, such as sweets, their favorite books, or anything else. I don’t think coat racks would fit in a basket, so I might consider a box this time.
I don’t know what climbing equipment he might need, and I hope his climbing buddies will take care of that because I don’t want to give him something he won’t use.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
