I've got an Outdoor Research Advanced Bivy for sale:
Practically new - less than 4 nights in it and no signs of wear. Bought new last year, and didn't use it as much as I wanted to.
Outdoor Research's most featured, high-performance bivy.
Vented foot box, Goretex (no condensation problems!), removable bug net, 2 pole design (freestanding and keeps the fabric away from your face), super durable floor, relatively light (2 lb bivy).
See the rest here: https://www.outdoorresearch.com/es/en/advanced-bivy/p/2428290202222
MSRP: $325
Asking $190 + shipping
Includes: stuff sack, bivy, poles, 5 pole sleeves (one extra)

I really appreciate your interest, but $100 is too low for me. Unless, of course, you're offering to pay me $100 for the shipping to Idaho :P
I was surprised they were discontinued too! Truly one of the best bivies out there, especially for the weight.

Bought an OR Advanced Bivy last year, 2nd hand, for $150 for the West Highland Way on Scotland. Great place of equipment. $100 seems really lowball and insulting.

Couple that with a discount for first order, and you’re looking at around $120 for brand new. The op is asking for $190 plus shipping for used. My offer is insulting?
I thought it would be insulting to post how much cheaper this discontinued item could be bought free. Do you still feel like a knight in shining armor, Benjamin? Backcountry is selling the Alpine Bivy for $136. They do not appear to have the Advanced Bivy in stock.

I thought it would be insulting to post how much cheaper this discontinued item could be bought free. Do you still feel like a knight in shining armor, Benjamin? No, they aren't. Different model, called the "alpine bivy", not the "advanced bivy". Perhaps you should reexamine your source? I don't think Benjamin meant anything offensive with his post. I thought your offer was respectful proffered, albeit low. There's no harm for someone to make an offer, even if it gets rejected (as long as you're polite!). Frankly, I don't really care if Benjamin found your offer insulting; it's not his ad. But I agree with him, it's definitely an amazing piece of gear.
