Hole patch for mountaineering boot?

I gouged my boot with a crampon, and not sure what product to use to fix it. For jackets I've just used regular cut-and-stick patch kits. But this is a much thicker material.
Any suggestions?

My go-to for fixing holes things like that or holes in soft shell pants or gloves is Seam Grip. Good for lots of repairs.

Thanks for the tips.
How does seam grip compare to shoe goo?

Barge cement?

There are some threads on Backpacking Light about different seam sealers, and some people advocate using Shoe Goo or Barge Cement cut with mineral spirits as an alternative to Seam Grip, which is much more expensive per ounce. If you google around you can see the discussions, some people say they are the same, others claim otherwise, but Shoe Goo/ Barge Cement seems to work quite well in practice. I have patched crampon holes with Barge Cement (thinned with mineral spirits) and found it works just fine, although it does turn a more yellow color after a while (not a problem on black pants). Based on my limited experience, it would probably patch that spot on your boot super gaitor nicely and last the remaining lifetime of the boots.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
