Driving to Joshua Tree from Phoenix 21st to 23/24th

Hey

I'm an Australian based in Switzerland and I will be in Pheonix for a conference in March. I just realised that it's only a few hours drive to Joshua Tree, so I would hire a car and head there on the morning of the 21st and go pack on the 23rd or 24th to fly out.

Is anyone interested in coming and climbing with me? I would be happy to pay for a small hire car but share gas costs.

I would be up leading trad 5.10 to 5.11 or maybe projecting something harder, and I can bring a rack and rope. I promise I'm a safe and but also easy going partner (hopefully you are too).

I've heard it will be pretty busy. I guess I will keep an open mind for climbing in less popular areas in Arizona.
