Red Rock Climbing : Where to Stay

Howdy yall,

I'm leading a cohort of 10+ climbers out west around mid March so they can experience this amazing rock for their newly-minted sport climbing selfs.

I'm divided on how to approach lodging.

The group sites at the Red Rock campground are already full, but we could reserve a collection of singles near each other.

Or, we could get an airbnb for about the same price and all stay in one place.

Do you guys have any opinions / tips / thoughts on the best places to host 10+ people? We'll be climbing for at least 3 or 4 days.

10+ people covered with chalk and desert varnish make a long queue for showers at the gym. Abstract: don't camp.

I think that motels or homes (AirBnB) are always more comfortable than tent camping. More expensive than camping, but it's nice to have a shower and a bed when you're done climbing.

Not to hijack the thread; but on a seperate note; myself and a buddy are flying out mid February for some multipitch trad.

Would appreciate an email with some preferred motels or AirBnB's!

Best of luck with your trip in March, hope you guys have a blast!

When we climbed there in March of 2017, we stayed at the Hampton Inn in Summerlin ("Hampton Inn & Suites Las Vegas-Red Rock/Summerlin") for around $100/night. Relatively new hotel, clean, good beds, and convenient access. About a 20 minute drive to the main gate. Next time we head to Vegas, we'll likely stay there again.

I'm a bit confused by what you're asking here. Are you trying to hire me? Haha

I have a place in Vegas that would work but I require the above for consideration.

Ah. Just sent you a private message so we can discuss further.

Going to red rocks 3/16-3/22, we have 9 of us and looking for a place to stay. Any recommendations? Cheapest would be best!

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
