Just checked out HIMALI? They have good stats on their products and at good prices (great with AAC discount).  Does anyone have experience with them? I can't find any third party reviews which makes me nervous.

I just bought one of their jackets. I’ll keep you posted.

I have a down jacket from them, no complaints on warmth, fit, or price point. It’s made with a hood large enough to accommodate a helmet (albeit a bit tightly). The sleeves are oddly long, but I don’t dislike it. It’s my first really nice down jacket, so I don’t have any comparisons, but I went with it because I’m small, and it actually fits really well! Other slightly odd thing is it stuffs into a sack that goes into the left pocket when not in use, rather than a double zipper stuff thing. It does have some feathers popping out at sleeve seams. Don’t know if that’s fairly regular or not. Easy to fix, just haven’t yet.

Been in business a few years, based out of Boulder CO. They do give great deals and you see tons of people wearing it here in CO. Quality seems to be middle of the road. I suppose it depends on how you plan to use it.

I have their 850-fill hooded down jacket with Pertex Quantum shell material. Warmth-to-weight ratio is very good and it's held up well. I've been happy with it.

I think the stand out piece is the Ascent Stretch Hoody. The construction of the Toray fabric is pretty unique and the "breathability" or "moisture vapor transfer" for a jacket with 100 gram insulation is awesome. The Guide Flex pants are a nice, trim softshell pant. Great for climbing and running in cooler weather, but IMO a little thick for summer wear. I'm hoping if a 2.0 comes out they ditch the velcro and add a thigh pocket.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
