Looking for something lighter than a traditional wall hammer, with still enough ass to bash an occasional oh shit piton.

You probably want a Petzl Tamtam or a Grivel Thor. I have a Tamtam I could part with if that’s what you decide on.

I have two different versions of the Dammer, it's a lightweight hammer that is up to the abuse of the heavier ones, it's what I carry bolting on lead.
