Really depends on what you are going to use it for. It is a double walled tent so it is heavy. All my tents are single walled but one which is for car camping.
I plan on using it in winter at higher altitude here in Colorado. It would be split between two people (most times) so Im not super concerned with the weight. Gearing up for Rainier next and eventually Denali (fingers crossed)!
I've yet to use it "mountaineering"(those dreams died) but have had the tent for ~10 years and use it anytime I expect bad weather and high winds. Super sturdy, not that noisy, and I sleep comfortably in it at 6'5" with another person. It's also pretty darn warm even on snow, not sure how much that would change at altitude though where it gets brutally cold.
Pretty standard/proven 4-pole expedition bomb shelter. If you're looking for an 8-10lb 4 season double wall dome I'm sure it won't suck as far as that class of tent goes. Similar to the MH Trango which seems more popular, I'd check out both. If you have the budget also look at Hilleberg, but hard to argue it's worth twice as much if the money is an issue. Outdoor Gear Lab reviewed all 3 if you feel like reading their thoughts. I would personally bring a lighter tent to Rainier, but all the guided parties use tents like these. I'm sure it won't be out of place at 14k and 17k on the West Buttress.
