Glamping Pad Recommendations
|
Looking for a car camping pad that is wide, long, durable, and either self- or non-inflating. |
|
Paco pad. expensive and bulky, but comfortable, waterproof, and will last forever. They come in different sizes and widths. |

I got a thermarest dream time this year and I'm loving it for glamping. Sleep nearly as well as I do on my 13" memory foam mattress at home. Cover unzips easily to be washed also. |

Costco has great pads. I think they are made by a company called Litespeed or something like that. Super thick and about $35 compared to a comparable REI that cost well over $100. I have the comparable REI pad and prefer the Costco pads. I know this says $99 but my Costco in Burbank has similar pads for $35. costco.com/Lightspeed-Outdo… |

I have an Exped Megamat and it's amazing. I sleep like I do on my home bed. They are a bit pricey but are totally worth it. |

Get a paco pad river folks use. |

I'm in the exped camp. We've got the simcomfort duo 7.5. Completely amazing, even if it's not quite as thick as the megamat. |

I've got these for car camping, they self inflate really well, they're nice and thick and seem durable (I've had them for maybe three years and they still seem brand new). They are bulky and certainly not light, but for car camping they are super comfortable! |

This. My wife and I used our DreamTimes as our bed for a week or two after a move, while waiting for our furniture to arrive. They're that good. |

Exped SIM Comfort Duo 7.5 + Big Agnes Dream Island = best bed ever. Might be lonely for one person, though, so get the single versions. The pad semi-self inflates, but comes with an easy to use pump, so you aren't huffing and puffing or filling your pad with moist breath. |

You know, I find the REI 3.5" thick XL mat, which i think is about $150 or so, to be as comfortable as my bed. Then again, I do like a firm mattress. |

That’s the same REI pad I have and it is very comfortable, but I wish I had known about the Lightspeed pads at Costco for $35 before I dropped $150 at REI for almost the same pad. |

Live in a sprinter. 6 in memory foam |

Air mattress....$8 at Walmart. Very comfortable and totally bomber. It's heavy, only good for car camping |
