BeastFingers (Grippul) is a dishonest company

I'm not usually one to rant on the internet, but I had a really bad experience with this company.   Short version of the story is they took my money in late February and I still don't have a product.  Nearly 3 months now.  The pattern I see from them goes:

1. Promise it will ship by a date and they will provide tracking
2. Claim it shipped, but fail to provide tracking number
3. Item never arrives
4.They find some "mistake" on their end that caused it to not actually be shipped (or shipped to the wrong address) and promise to ship it again, this time with tracking
5. Repeat above steps

That cycle has repeated twice now, and I've had it with them.  I've been forced to contest the charge with my bank.  Anyway, I'd recommend not buying anything from this company

I have these: atomikclimbingholds.com/the…. You can buy the crimp plates from Atomik's system board holds (or any other holds you want). I hold them upside down attached to kettlebells by a sling, hang them from a pull up bar, etc. I'm sure they'd work in a cable machine too.

Atomik has really good customer service. Mine arrived about 4 days after I ordered them. I can bring them to Rifle next weekend if you want to check them out in person.

Personally, I had great experience with them. Product is bit overrated but customer service was fine.

Thanks for that beta Zach. I may be trying those out assuming I never actually get anything from BeastFingers.  If you're in Rifle I'd love to see them

I had a similar experience with Beast Fingers after ordering a Grippul Two in December 2017. Still haven't received a tracking number or the product. I emailed multiple times and they kept stating delays and pushed the delivery date back. They promised to get me a tracking number but still haven't got one. I'm contesting the charge at this point.

I'll be looking into the Atomik Holds that Zach posted above.

My advice, avoid Beast Fingers or risk losing your money and getting a headache. I'm certainly not buying anything from them again.

Interesting to hear I wasn't the only one, Mike.  According to my bank, Beastfingers never refunded the money even after the bank itself went after them.  I got the money back through the dispute process, but in essence I think this means BeastFingers scammed Wells Fargo out of ~$75 (!!!!!!).  Seem crazy considering the competition in the space......

Out of stock currently, but due to restock any day now. I have two and love them. Can't beat the customer service or shipping speed either.

That Tension block looks rad, I want one!  Love their portable hangboard, seems like a great company.

My experience purchasing a grippul was similar.  I repeatedly asked for refunds because they were not shipping the product.  They ignored me and delayed for months, until I finally received the grippul months later than it was supposed to be sent.

I give them a 3/10, because I did eventually get a grippul.  Would not buy something from them again though.

For info on another possible alternative, I recently purchased a Gripster and had a positive experience.  Good product.  Arrived 4 days after purchase.

Hello.
My name is Sonya.  I am in charge of Customer Care at Beast Fingers.

  1. We want to apologize to any Beast Fingers customers that were inconvenienced. We did have a rough time delivering product for a while but we have made changes in management and suppliers which caused us a lot of problems with our pre-orders.
We are in the process of delivering all undelivered product which is almost completely done.  We are working on new orders with no hold ups.  We decided not to take pre-orders again to prevent problems like before.  At this point, everything seems to be going very well.

We are asking for another chance.  We want to prove to everyone that we can provide excellent customer service if just given another chance.  I know it was very aggravating for those who thought we were dishonest because they didn't get their product in a timely manner.  We get it.  We understand.  We just had a situation getting supplies that put us way behind in getting out the product.
So This Time It Will Be better.  We promise and guarantee.  The Grippul 2 is out and those who have ordered recently are happy with the product.  If you give us another chance, we know you all will be too.
Again, we do apologize.

Sounds like a sincere apology to me, as long as previous problems are corrected or refunded.

My gf ordered me a grippul 2 for Xmas. Showed up in a timely matter. I did see many people complain on IG in the past about products not arriving. I have mine and I’m pleased.

2020 update, ordered the Grippul XL and it arrived on time. No issues here.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
