Finger hurts to the touch

Hey All,

My left hand middle finger has been painful to touch even very lightly the past week or so. Just touching the steering wheel of my car hurts it or gently touching it with my thumb. It feels fine when its warm- literally warm, if I lay in blankets for 10 minutes it no longer hurts to touch- and after I've warmed up climbing. No real issues climbing on it once I'm warmed up, but before warming up whenever it touches a hold, it hurts. The pain is on the left side of the last digit of my finger. It's almost definitely not a pulley injury as it feels nothing like that and overall I'm not too concerned about it but I'm wondering if anyone has had a similar experience before and whether they just climbed through it and it went away.

Cheers,
Will

Does no real issues = no issues at all when climbing?

If it causes no pain or discomfort when climbing, you should be fine.

Could just be some bruising.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
