Hey all,

Moving to Denver this summer, and I was wondering what the best bouldering centric gyms in Denver. Ideally it'd have good bouldering, a moonboard, tension board, squat rack/barbells, kettlebells, hangboards, etc.

Basically I want a gym to train/a co-op scenario with a good community not necessarily a great commercial gym. Any advice is appreciated!

Hands down the best gym for just bouldering is Denver Bouldering Club (https://denverboulderingclub.com/.) Honestly, it's the best gym I've bouldered in so far in several cities in multiple states.

However, you might find you like other amenities too (yoga, spin classes, food truck area, a short drive). In that case, your calculus might change, especially with gyms opening up in the next few months. And other gyms have been adding all the training equipment you mentioned.

I’ve got a Denver Bouldering club punch card that I won. I’ll sell it to you for a good price if you’re interested.

DBC for sure. Great vibe, awesome place.

The new movement might be cool...who knows. I am not really a fan of the existing movement.

DBC it is! physnchips I'll let you know, but I'll likely get a membership as soon as I get there!

On another note, any outdoor climbing/bouldering to be had via bus/train+bike any type is fine, but it's more of a bummer to haul the trad rack and rope on a bike than sport gear or a bouldering pad for a quick session

You can take the W Line RTD train to its final stop near downtown Golden (Jeffco Civic Center) from there you have bike access to North Table and Clear Creek Canyon. Might also be able to catch a bus to Morrison/Red Rocks or Evergreen (Alderfer/Three Sisters) for bouldering

You can also Bus/bike up to Boulder and climb in the flatirons and Boulder Canyon as well.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
