Hi all.

I bought LS Skwama recently as second shoes.

Toe size and Edging is good.

but when I walk or move heels with that shoes on, It make a shoes fart and . I think heels fit is poor.

Is there a solution to get rid of shoes fart or air pocket in heels?

I wore it too long and many times to sell it... I think.

The shoe is sized too large. If you size correctly it won’t be comfortable (very aggressive shoe) but you also won’t have empty space.

Then changing shoes is the only way to get rid of shoes fart...

I will try to sell it at gym in this week.

Thank you everybody.

If you cut the strap that goes across the heel it helps. Makes the fit a little loser, but if the front end fits well it’s still okay as a gym shoe

I would put a couple of these in each shoe, should temporarily help

Next time you check out a pair, make sure your heel feels snug. This doesn't mean your ankle will be comfortable, since shoes like the Skwama are meant to shove the back of your foot forward, jamming your toes down at the front.

After they break in the slingshot rand/ P3 system/ whatever will be a little bit more malleable and fit you more comfortably.

Lol.  I'm not so sure that shoe farts are a sign of poor fit.  I have had 2 pairs of shoes that gave me tons of confidence, had no hot spots, and were relatively comfy (all signs of a good fit IMHO).  Both of those pairs fart. One was the Otaki, the other was the Evolv Luchador.   Of course, I'm not climbing crimpy overhanging 5.13.  if I was, then maybe I would need tighter shoes.

Someone above linked to this thread as evidense that shoe farts == bad fit.

but when I read through that thread several people have had the same experience as me.

In my case, the farts happen in the middle of my foot, not the heel.  I also have a pair of Katakis (basically the lace version of the Otaki) sized exactly the same at my Otakis, and they don't fart.  My guess is that the laces allow me to tighten the shoe more around the mid foot, and prevent the farts.  So maybe favor laced shoes if you hate shoe farts.

If you like the way your flatulent shoes climb, then why not keep them?  If you trade them in for tighter shoes you will be less comfortable, which is a leading cause of less climbing.  If you really hate the farts, then one thing you could try is to strategically place some craft foam (http://a.co/0qokUmH) inside the shoe to either fill dead space, or to open a path for air to vent silently.  Some craft foam even has adhesive backing.  Just use it sparingly, since it doesn't breath.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
