I have 2 pretty much mint condition Patagonia North Wall jackets. One is womens medium and one is womens small. They are a dark grey exterior and the high loft grid thermal pro fleece interior.

Im looking to trade either for a mens medium or womens large. These are discontinued and highly sought after - probably Patagonias most sought after jacket. It tests at approximately 3CFM air permeability and has an HH of 5,000-20,000 depending on the AATC test.

For those of you who arent familiar with this jacket its one of the best Patagonia every produced. The exterior is Polartec Powershield Pro which is likely the best fabric ever made. Its more air permeable than Neoshell or eVent while still being waterproof in useage (It has an HH of around 5,000 which is probably similar to your tent fly). The seams are all welded making taping unnecessary. The interior is lined with a high loft grid thermal pro polartec fleece (its actually a bit similar to Polartec Alpha - but this was made before that existed.)

I will warn you though they are quite warm with the fleece interior and not just a Powershield Pro shell like the Kniferidge or Knifeblade (which are also amazing in their own right). I would say in my experience it is similar in warmth to wearing a medium weight thermal pro high loft fleece under a softshell (so similar the combo of an R2 hoodie + Kniferidge) but saving about half the weight. If you know you will be working in more extreme conditions these are unmatched for their versatility - I skip the hardshell when using powershield pro and I dont bring any other protective layers. Unless you run cold I would avoid wearing these while working hard in above freezing conditions.

For some tests on different materials and more definitive proof on the properties of powershield pro you can see this link:

Basically they conclude NeoShell is the best of the best hardshells as the increase in air permeability allows increased evaporation and allows you use it while actually exerting yourself. Powershield Pro is essentially the same membrane as NeoShell but with a slightly lower waterproof rating and a much higher air permeability (1CFM vs 3CFM). These guys know their stuff.
