I really like the Rakkup app for Fosters. The app is free and you pay for the individual area guidebooks. There are a few examples for free if you want to see what type of info it provides.

Im not completely sure yet but Ill probably do just some more cragging around Chatt too, so would you still prefee the app of a guide like chatt steel?

Chatt Steel or Dixie Craggars will be more than adequate for Foster, as well as other chattanooga areas

Sorry, I can't speak for Dixie Craggars, I've only got Chatt Steel. I did a quick look, it seems Chatt Steel is still available but Dixie is not. Perhaps the author will chime in and answer that question for us...

Do you own a copy of chat steel by any chance and know the quality of it?

I have Chatt Steel and it's pretty comprehensive as far as sport cragging in the Chatt area, but doesn't cover the Obed or anything farther than Soddy-Daisy

In Rakkup the Fosters area only cost $10. I don't have chat steel so I couldn't compare the two.

ChattSteel is by far the best comprehensive guidebook for that Chattanooga Area, it blows away the dixie craggers atlas. If your planning on coming back to the chattanooga area i would definitely get Chattsteel
