Log Canyon is an option, but don't go too far up, it gets rough, very rough, but there are a good many spots down low.  There is also Wales Canyon just south of Maple Canyon which is also an option down low, once again the higher up the canyon you go the rougher it gets.  I have as seen travel trailers above Maple Canyon, via Wales canyon or coming from Levan  but you have to know your way around to find a camping spot without getting in a compromising situation.  Between Log Canyon (8ish miles North) and Wales Canyon (4ish miles South) you should be able to find something less than 20 mins away from Maple itself.  There are literally hundreds of places to camp in the immediate area less than 45 mins from Maple as well.  You *should* be able to find something close by without much trouble.  If needed pm me, my family has a house 6 miles from the mouth of Maple Canyon and I know the area pretty well.

Thanks for the info., everyone, but a gnarly cold front is coming in, so we had to change plans.  One day!
