Doctor recommendation in SLC

Hi everyone,
Can anybody recommend a doctor in the Salt Lake City area for climbing related injuries?
I was bouldering at my limit a few weeks ago and noticed some tendon pain on my ring finger after the end of the session. It doesn't feel extremely painful but I should probably get it checked.
I'm still able to climb but the pain becomes more noticeable on certain types of holds (e.g. slopers)
Thanks,
Eduardo

See above for number 1 SLC PT who is a climber option who is focused on climber injuries.

Only issue, not sure what they take for insurance? Yep just looked on website they are a cash practice. I believe you can take the bill and request reimbursement from your insurance. If this is a problem you might have to say which insurance you have. Of course if you're going the insurance route you probably need to see a doc first.

Hard to beat that recommendation!

As another option (but granted, this guy was not as versed in climbing), Seth Riley at handandortho.com/ worked well for me with a decent A4 injury.

One of their other practicioners, Susan Ozaki ( handandortho.com/meet-our-s…) is a rock climber.

They do accept insurance.

+1 for Grassroots Physical Therapy. I have been working with Katey Blumenthal for several months now. Initially it was a non-climbing-related knee injury, then for a tendon injury in my ring finger, also from bouldering. They are well-versed in climbing injuries, and are great at working with you to get back to your goals.

Also they are all great climbers with tons of experience, which helps when talking about our specific stress patterns

Thanks everyone for your responses. Sounds like grassroots pt is excellent but I'm planning on using my insurance. Got an appointment scheduled with Susan Ozaki at hand and orthopedic pt.

DR Douglas Hutchinson at the UofU orthopedic center.

Dr. Eric Heiden (yes, who you think it is) did my wife's knee replacements and Dr. Karen Heiden does hands and shoulders.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
