Will be there next week for a ski trip but may not be able to ski due to recent shoulder surgery. I am bringing snow shoes and would appreciate ideas on where to go.
Kamas is 15 min from Park City the mirror lake highway going out of Kamas has several trails that take off from it. I love going down along the Provo River in that area. There is great wildlife viewing along the river.

Never quite understood why peeps need a trail for slowshoes. Just go somewhere that looks interesting.

One should have avy gear (and know how to use it) as well route finding skills for the trails in the Cottonwood Canyons as most have avalanche danger. There are some safe areas but even places like Mill D can be hazardous to the unknowledgable.
