Adhesive for use on crash pads?

I want to put a velcro strip on the top of a Metolius Bailout (old version of the Session) so I can connect it to my Mad Pad's velcro flap. Anyone tried this? They sell iron-on velcro, velcro with "industrial strength adhesive," or I could use contact cement... Can't fit the whole crash pad under my sewing machine, unfortunately, but I need this to hold. Any tips appreciated.

Seam grip is super strong and flexible. There are probably other rubber cement type options as well.

I recently used E6000 adhesive to glue Velcro to neoprene (nylon fabric surface) and it worked well. You can find it at Home Depot, Walmart, etc.

Aquaseal. It's like Seam grip only even more bomber. Clean both surfaces well and allow it a log time to cure before messing with it.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
