March 5th and 6th at the Museum of Northern Arizona

Once in a lifetime chance to hear from folks who know the place unlike anyone else. You'll hear from climbers you may have never heard of but who substantial credentials.

An added bonus, Tooth Rock ascents. Rarely seen images and even more rare, info from the FAs.

It ain't sport climbing but it is about as sporty as it gets.

Supposedly this is Steve Grossman's last Granitica Festival in Arizona for sometime. Granite Mountain, The Stronghold, Baboquivari and now The Grand Canyon. These events are not to be missed if you have any interest in the history of climbing.

Thread on the taco had a speakers list last I looked.

Just the 5th and 6th. Also, this may have changed, but it's limited to 150,so you might want to get your tickets early.

I think Steve G. initally was looking at the 15/16 so the early word was that.

But like the rat said, 5th and 6th for sure!

Hey, if anyone has any pics of the climbing on Pegasus...
Especially 1st and 3rd pitches. I could sure use them.
2nd pitch I'll also take but I have a few that will basically cover it.
Looking down the 2nd would be nice...

The presentation by 'Crusher' tonight was superb. Got to meet quite a few of my childhood heros. Can't wait for the rest of the weekend.

Desert Rat I'm glad you had a great time last night, thanks for coming out!! I agree, very special meeting the faces behind the names of our desert heros.

Reminder that Graniticata begins shortly here at The Museum of Northern Arizona. Tickets are now $20 cash at the door. Ganci, Hatcher, Tidrick, Grossman, Bain, Karlstrom, Newman, Opland... The list runs deep! If you can be in Northern Arizona this weekend stop by. Once in a lifetime opportunity to hear spray!

LMAO.... I thought it was just lack of sleep....

This was awesome fun. All the Granitica's have been this way but this was something special. Guess you have to hump the ditch to truly understand but wow!
