Dead Bird 395 is amazing!  Been using one now for a few months and it is so much better than my old BD Alpine Bod.

Has anyone tried de Choucas?

Petzl.....YOU GOT ME

Ugh, my alpine thighs DO NOT fit in the sitta. Such a bummer.

And I thought I had thick thighs!

I have the same issue.  With base layers and soft shell pants on, the leg loops are stretched to their limit.  Meanwhile, the waist is cinched up nearly as tight as it goes, and the tiny belay loop then pulls the waist of the harness down toward my legs.

Thankfully, I find that this harness fits great if I'm wearing light clothing.

I've never felt like I had small legs until right this moment.  My world is flipped.

I've used the Sitta quite a bit for ice climbing. Three complaints: [1] due to how the size works on my, the left ice clipper slot is very hard to get to. [2] I've found it's rather uncomfortable for hanging belays. [3] I'm not wild about the gear loops. Gonna try a larger Hirundos to see if it addresses all my issues.

I have both the Sitta & the AR-395a.  Both fit me very well & I love both of them for several different reason; all mostly hit upon above.  The Sitta's ice clipper slots are very flimsy, which can make racking your tools a pain.  As mentioned above, the left ice clipper is a little more of a reach.  The weight and packability of the Sitta is second to none.  It straight disappears in your pack.

The AR-395a is just very easy to wear.  Everything about it is well designed & thought out.  I'm not a fan of the color red, so if the new FL-365 came in a better color, I would have chosen that one as I would have liked to shave a little weight eliminating the adjustable leg loops.  The ice clipper slots are rock-solid and I'm starting to really like the curved gear loops.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
