Anybody try this? It's not particularly expensive. Very tart taste, which I like. I've tried a 3 gm dose prior to training, haven't really noticed much for good or ill. Will increase towards the 8 gm recommended in this article climbingnutrition.com/suppl… and report back.
I take 1/2 tsp of Beta A and 1/2 tsp of Cit M exactly 1 hour before starting climbing. I've noticed a big difference in power endurance. No noticeable effect when bouldering, unless its a longer problem
The taste of the 2 mixed together in water is something akin to battery acid, but after a while it really isn't all that hard.
