I'm going to get this out of the way now-it's not my mom.The hardest graded climb would probably be Rhapsody E11 or Meltdown (.14c/d) in Yosemite. However, neither of those two are pure crack climbs. The hardest true crack would probably be Century Crack. While "only" 5.14b, technically easier than Cobra Crack at mid .14, it is offwidth and everyone knows offwidths are sandbags, thus the climb is probably harder than Cobra Crack. Overhanging offwidth roof forever? Cant think of anything harder than that. |

Neh, it's definitely The Kraken |

Although only 5.13+R and 60 ft long Carbondale short bus looks pretty heinously awkward. And thin! |

Recovery Drink (ungraded) by Nick Favresse gets talked about as one of the hardest. Also, la pura pura, Tom randall gives 5.14+ I believe but it's a Vsomethinghard boulder problem into the beginning of Greenspit, so who knows if that counts. |

The Stingray in J tree,And Meltdown in Yosemite. Here is an interesting compilation. rockclimbing.com/Articles/C… |

Was looking up indian creek videos and found a FA of 'Carbondale Short Bus.' A gnarly 5.14- with a crazy big dyno finish. Not the hardest, but still very hard. |

It seems to me that the top contenders are Nico Favrasse's "Recovery Drink," Tom Randall's "The Kraken," and last, but certainly not least, Beth Rodden's "Meltdown." |

CENTURY CRACK! |
