Anyone have experience? Looking it to it as my first "puffy" type jacket. Obviously not super warm, but what do you think?

Have it, love it, price was awesome and the warranty is hands down the best. Kept me warm last week on Frankenstein cliffs, it was pretty chilly and windy. Just tossed it on over my shell.

There are a metric ton of the "60g" puffy jackets out there. The LL Bean is a great value as it's PL1 and low or sub $100 if you can find it on sale. That said, there are several other jackets in that same category so search around for sales. The "BEST" 60g is the one on sale for the least $$. Do watch your insulations though as many will sneak in Primaloft Synergy or ECO which are NOT the same. Some others like Coreloft are close. RAB Generators (100g in body, 60g in sleeves) can be found for $85ish right now and are noticeably warmer than the 60g in my experience.

I got mine at the LL Bean store for $69, and I think it's pretty damn warm for how small it packs and how light it is. Plus it's Primaloft One, not the lesser ones. And there's that whole guaranteed forever thing too. Should add, I have the hooded version.

Sounds like I might need to pick one of these up once they go on sale again. Is it usually at the end of the season?

I got mine at the outlet store here in Concord, NH. There were a ton of them last time I was in there.

Thanks For $80, they're likely a great deal. I don't know anything about the outer shell but PL1 for $80 is a good deal and LLBean is an established CO. PL1 or equivalent garments are not long term items as they do wear out and loose loft faster than down. They're great for their intended purpose but dropping $200 for a NanoPuff, $190 for Rab Xenon X or $200 for an Arrcteryx Atom LT is questionable. By them cheap if you can. Heck, COSTCO had Atom LTs last month.
